Crue finally got to see sheep! I drove up to Kentucky to work with Vergil Holland. What wonderful people Vergil and Annemarie are! They made us feel very at home.
Crue has led a very sheltered life only going to work and back with me most days, so he was very hesitant to go with Vergil to the sheep. Having not seen sheep since he was a wee pup, he didn't know what to make of them.

I never could get the sheep out of the corners and Vergil finally had to come in and lend a hand, (ie: take over) He finally got Crue going around and he was off.
His sheep sense finally kicked in and he did quite well.
He gained a bit of confidence too.
After his third time on the sheep in the heat, he was a happy, but exhausted little sheepdog.
A well deserved soak in the tub.
Yea Crue! Now you are a real sheepdog!
