I swore I'd never do it...but I did

I've always advised against shaving dogs down unless there is a reason. Well I went against my own advice and shaved Meg. She was itching all the time and was clumping her hair up. She was also panting and hot. It has been hot and its very humid here. Anyway, here is what she used to look like

And here is what she looks like now.

I think she looks like a big chihuahua in this picture.

I wanted to try and get some new pics of Crue so I thought I'd have him sit by Reign so I could get a comparison picture of the two of them side by side. Easier said than done. It was next to impossible to get them to stay still and sit nicely for me. I finally had to tie him up so he wouldn't keep laying down just before I could take the picture. And no, I'm not talking about Crue, I'm talking about Reign! For some reason he thought I was punishing him. Even though I brought out treats and even a Frisbee, which is his favorite thing. Crue was a complete ham, he kept posing for me like he totally understood the whole thing. I'd say no, move back, he'd move back and cock his head, like he was asking if this is ok. Meanwhile he looks great in the pics and Reign looks like a deer caught in the headlights.
